What does SetSoar do?
SetSoar is a B2B technology consulting firm based in Athens, Georgia. We help small businesses automate repetitive workflows, strengthen their cybersecurity, and build professional websites. Most of our work is done remotely, so we serve clients nationwide.
Who do you work with?
We work primarily with small businesses — typically teams of 2 to 50 people who need real IT expertise without the overhead of a full-time hire. Our clients range from professional services firms and healthcare practices to contractors, e-commerce businesses, and nonprofits.
Do you work with clients outside of Athens, GA?
Yes. While we are based in Athens, Georgia, we serve clients across the United States. Most engagements are conducted remotely via video call and screen share. We are happy to discuss on-site options for clients in the Athens area.
How do I get started?
The best first step is a free 30-minute discovery call. We will learn about your business, what challenges you are facing, and what outcomes you want. From there, we will tell you honestly whether we can help and what that would look like. There is no obligation.
Workflow Automation
What kinds of tasks can you automate?
Common automation projects include data entry and report generation, file organization and processing, email and notification workflows, syncing data between platforms (e.g., CRM, accounting software, spreadsheets), scheduled backups, and custom internal tools. If your team does the same thing manually more than a few times per week, it is a candidate for automation.
What tools and languages do you use for automation?
We primarily build custom automation in Python and PowerShell. We also work with platforms like Microsoft Power Automate, n8n, Make (formerly Integromat), and Zapier depending on what fits your existing tech stack best. We will recommend the right tool for your situation — not the one we prefer to bill hours on.
Do I need technical knowledge to use what you build?
No. We document everything we build and walk your team through how it works. Our goal is to hand off solutions you can understand and maintain, not to create dependency on us.
Cybersecurity
What cybersecurity certifications does your team hold?
Our team holds CompTIA Security+, PenTest+, and Cloud+ certifications. These are practitioner-level credentials that demonstrate hands-on expertise in security assessment, penetration testing, and cloud security — not just theoretical knowledge.
What does a security assessment cover?
A typical security assessment includes an external attack surface analysis (what attackers can see from the internet), vulnerability identification across your systems and configurations, a risk prioritization report (what to fix first and why), and clear remediation recommendations written for a non-technical audience. We focus on practical risk reduction, not generating a thick report that sits on a shelf.
Do you offer ongoing monitoring?
Yes. Our threat monitoring service provides continuous external monitoring including dark web credential monitoring, domain and subdomain tracking, and monthly threat intelligence reports. This is designed for businesses that want ongoing visibility into their security posture without hiring a full-time security analyst.
We are a small business. Do we really need cybersecurity consulting?
Small businesses are disproportionately targeted by cybercriminals precisely because they often have weaker defenses than large enterprises. A single ransomware incident or data breach can be catastrophic for a small operation. Our assessments are scoped and priced for small businesses — you do not need an enterprise budget to get real protection.
Web Development
What kinds of websites do you build?
We build professional business websites, service pages, landing pages, and portfolio sites. We focus on fast, modern builds using Astro, React, and Next.js — technologies that produce sites with excellent performance and search engine visibility. We do not build e-commerce platforms or complex web applications.
How long does a website project take?
A typical small business website takes 3 to 6 weeks from kickoff to launch, depending on scope and how quickly we can gather your content and feedback. We will give you a realistic timeline during the discovery call.
Will my site be optimized for search engines?
Yes. SEO best practices are built into our development process — proper meta tags, structured data, fast load times, mobile responsiveness, and clean URL structure. We do not offer ongoing SEO management, but the sites we build start with a solid technical foundation.
Working with Us
How do you price your services?
Pricing depends on the scope of the project. Automation and web development projects are typically quoted as fixed-price engagements. Cybersecurity assessments are also fixed-price. Ongoing monitoring and support are available on a monthly retainer. We provide a clear quote before any work begins — no surprise invoices.
What information do you need from me to get started?
For a discovery call, just come as you are. We will ask about your business, your current tools and workflows, and what problems you are trying to solve. You do not need to prepare technical documentation — just be ready to describe the problem in plain language.
How do I reach you?
You can reach us by email at contact@setsoar.com or by phone at 470-500-7673. You can also use the contact form on our website to schedule a free discovery call.
